My lovely Aunty turned 40 yesterday, and to celebrate has planned a dinner for her close friends tonight. Her fiance had requested a chocolate cake with forget me not flowers, and this was what I came up with. A 23cm chocolate mud cake covered in chocolate ganache covered in forget me not flowers, and a little butterfly (just because I love these piped butterflies) I used my new blossom veiner, and 3 different size blossom cutters to create a bit of depth from the back of the cake to the front. It looked lovely... even if I do say so myself! I also managed to get my hands on some couverture chocolate finally which made my ganache super smooth too - hooray!!!
